it’s been too long

I have finally finished my exams. It has been too hectic for far too long. Hahaha. Now, it’s time I take a break, do things at a slower pace.

This set of polariods were taken on Justin’s birthday at Ice Cold Beer. It was definitely one of the happier days we had since we’ve been back. Relaxed, with some drinks, chat chits and taking photos. Life is good that way.

After this period, it was the whole moving into our new place. My room looks nothing like the designs I’ve shown earlier on. Nothing like it at all! When it is FULLY done up, I’ll post more photos. Now, it’s lacking some wall art and a clock. Exciting stuffs to accomplish this holidays! I’m glad my 3 months holidays have arrived yet again. FINALLY.

It still never fails to make me smile every time we find a new similarity between us, whether in our preference or behavior.

It’s a sunday, my dad is watching tv in the living room, my mum was nagging at me from her comfy position on the sofa. I, unfortunately, am sitting at my study table situated in the living room. Sadly, that is the only space that allows for it.

At times like this, I miss having my own room. Can we move NOW?!!!!!!!!!!

Him

I was browsing through our China photos. I miss being there with him alone. Haha. Life was so carefree then. Just look at his multiple facial expressions. HAHAHAHA.

Run

I went for my first run in months. Haha. With my brother. Not the best person to go running with now that I’m so unfit and he’s the kind who goes for marathons. Haha. He drilled me like he was my fitness trainer. I wasn’t supposed to stop jogging at all. Plus he talked non stop while I was still trying to catch my breath. Hahaha. I was insanely tired already upon reaching home. Had cereals and mango. Then I received a text from my brother saying he’s coming home soon and let’s go running. Haha. I was so lazy and replied I just ate and stuffs. But he was a no excuses kind of guy. He convinced me to run, which eventually turns out to be a good thing. I have to get back into shape if not, I’ll be disappointing myself.

Next run, shall be within the week. Yes, I can do this without killing myself.

Short-lived

My alone time was short-lived. In the last few days, there have been so many things going on around me. We went to meet the interior designer, went to choose bathroom accessories, bed shopping, moved, unpacked. And the whole time, I also had school ongoing with deadlines starting to pile. I feel like I have a million things on my mind every night. How I manage to sleep, is due to pure exhaustion. I don’t feel at peace at all. Why did life get so hectic?

Being at home doesn’t help, there is too many people around, too many voices speaking at the same time. I can’t even hear my own thoughts. I need a time off.

Scenic moment

It’s been a long time since I’ve had time to myself. It feels almost perfect sitting at a Starbucks with a cold drink and my kindle. Sitting outdoors is wonderful back home. I can breathe the clean air and feel the wind in my hair with the occasional sunshine. I’m content. Yes, it feels like a scenic moment out of a book of movie.

Since I’ve been back, life has been in super fast motion. I’ve unpacked and packed non-stop. My room is currently almost bare with minimal furniture and things. My table is gone. The floor has become my new best friend. I’m always on the floor using my laptop. Haha. Shall be shifting to my grandma’s tomorrow. Goodbye The Eden. I shall miss you.

I WANT A KITTEN

I’m seriously seriously seriously considering adopting this kitten from Cat Welfare Society. She is absolutely adorable! But I’ll feel so so bad inconvencing Justin’s family with her. WHY CAN’T MY FAMILY JUST LET ME HAVE A KITTEN?!!!

2nd last night in Beijing, we went to cycle on ice, had candied kiwis & strawberries and lobsters on a stick.

 

GOODBYE BEIJINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. I’M GOING HOME!!!!!!!!!!

Excuse my madness

I AM COMING HOME TOMORROWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! SO BLOODY EXCITINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! IN 9 HOURS, I WILL BE ON A PLANE TO HONG KONG, THEN ON A PLANE TO SINGAPORE. WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. HOME HOME HOME HOME HOME!!!

My Family

I MISS MY FAMILYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. I can’t wait for Saturday, I will literally run and jump. I can seriously picture myself doing that. HAHAHA.
