Parental disputes ADVERSELY affect the kids. Or at least, one of them.

I have a lot of insecurities.

I like it when my dad makes me eno for my ulcer in his special way. Stir ice in water till it melts, put in eno and stir till it mixes well then drink up real fast.

Class dinner @ Timbre on saturday was great. It was such an awesome surprise to see people like Desmond and Sufi, guys I haven’t seen since we’ve graduated. Desmond said that I look good now, lost alot of weight. WOOHOOOOOOOOOO. Well, I guess so, sajc’s me and nus’s me is a hell lot of difference man. Hahaha. And of course, Ally, it’s so awesome to have her back in singapore. I love the class, after so long, we’re still so comfortable with sharing stories, talking about our lives & recalling jc stories as well. Mr Fong is still the same, clean-cut, hilarious and still likes to pick on me. Haha. Ah well. Can’t wait for paintball with them!

Dad just got an iphone, tsk, unbelievable. Haha. My dad has never asked for any fancy cool phones before. He’d always get the most basic ones, and gave all the upgrading opportunities to me. HAHA. I have a thing with phones, alot of people do I think? I change my phone every 6 months or so. Tsk, bad and expensive habit. Hahaha.

Mom was telling me a lasting relationship consists of giving and taking, arguments are most common (they’re great examples). Cliche I know, but it’s extremely real. For a couple to last, it boils down to how much you are willing to give, and I believe that it highly depends on how much you love the other party. Couples may argue like crazy but at the end of the day, as long as they love each other enough to compromise and be content having the other, they’re right for each other. We’ve gone through so much & you have gone through so much to finally get here with me, thank you. I know this time, we’ll make things work. I’ll always be here for you.

Back to my bumblee scarf I’m knitting. Woohooo.

I would love to wake up everyday, with your silly face looking down on me, waffles with maple syrup & a good episode of big bang theory/HIMYM/leverage.

Xinling’s my close friend. And it’s gonna stay this way for a long long long time.

Xinling’s twenty-one!

You can tell Lina & I absolutely loved the ice cream, especially the blueberry cheesecake one. Hahahahaha. And yes, Justin was snapping photos of me and my curly hair which he took an hour to curl for me. HAHA.

But today, I went to get a digital perm! So after almost 4 hours of sitting in the salon, 1/4 of an urban design book, the remaining 1/2 of A Man Named Dave, Women’s Weekly & 2 Seventeen magazines, I have a head of curly hair now. Woohooooo. Photos soon. Oh and, I hate 8am tuesday lectures.

“….You are my best friend. Okay,’ Marsha sighed, ‘I can see where you drive people crazy, only because you want to do your best. But, Dave, you deserve, we deserve to give each other a chance. I’m not going to smother you or trick you into anything. With my hand on the Bible, if I live to be a hundred, if I know one thing, it’s that we deserve- we deserve to be together.'” –A Man Named Dave

It’s hard to trust anyone. My poor black studded dress from far east that I never got to wear, bloody sim card that chalked up 600 bucks worth of calls to india, mom’s braun hair thingy, god knows what else, all gone. Sighs. Expensive lesson learnt. I’m so disappointed.

But I guess life is looking up, I have you. And yes, it will work out right.

Holidays have come to an end. GOODBYE. I WILL MISS YOU. TILL I SEE YOU AGAIN. IN ABOUT SIX MONTHS.

Good luck Ansley, may you succeed in concentrating and being diligent. And please, buck up your lousy chinese, you do not want to die in China.
